The prize
Center at Livingston's is probably very different from the small
prize cases that you are used to seeing. Livingston's prize center is
based on the Grand Old style of the New Jersey Shore arcades. In the
50's & 60's these places were huge with 50 foot long wall
displays plus floor cases that ran that distance. They had everything
from small toys to floor lamps, Lazy Boy recliners, small appliances
and televisions.
Livingston's
Prize Center is 750 square feet of showroom. It has two huge Store
style show windows. These windows are filled with prizes floor to
ceiling. When you enter the prize center you will see 8 floor display
cases. On the wall itself are display cabinets 8 foot high, filling
all the walls of the room. There are three 2x2 by ten foot tall
display cabinets in the center of the room. Then of course, there are
prizes hanging from the ceiling.
Livingstons
has over 2,200 different items in their prize inventory, we don't
have Lazy boy recliners but we do have junior gas powered All Terrain Vehicles.
We have all
the standard novelty items, like super balls, magic springs, Mardi
Gras style beads, candies etc. Then we have much, much more!
We have three
display areas devoted to 18 & up collectible items including but
not limited to the full selection of Rambo movie Knives, Lord of the
rings swords, Aragon Movie swords, Gil Hibben Fantasy design knives,
Kit Rae Fantasy designer swords, Airsoft pistols, airsoft rifles &
BB's.
We have
folding knives, Medieval weaponry, supplied by some of top companies
in the industry, United Cutlery & Master Cutlery among others.
Samurai sword sets & Ninja swords. By law you must be 18 years or
older to get these, Livingstons checks your ID and records each transaction.
Figurines in
glass & Polyresin of things like Dragons, Dolphins, fish,
Fairies, unicorns, Lion & Tigers & Bears Oh My! Figurines
from the Egyptian to the Chinese and Japanese.
There are
Plush Toys, Radio control boats, helicopters, cars. TV sets, CD
players, DVD players, alarm clocks, toaster ovens, coffee makers, are
in the center display cabinets.
From the
ceiling hang kites, pirate flags, faux tiger skin rugs. There are
chess sets from plain glass to sets that portray Civil War figures in
intricate detail a collector's item for sure.
On the
shelves you will find jewelry boxes, Lava Lamps, touch lamps, oil
burners, geodes, candle holders, and thousands of other items.
There are
thousands of square feet of display area, each foot crammed with
great prizes. There is always an attendant on duty to help you get
your prizes and answer your questions. At Livingstons personal
service is our specialty.
